About Odie Walks
At Odie Walks I specialise in 1:1 Training for dogs with problem behaviours as well as Structured Solo & Pack walks. With a desire to continue to learn from peers, I am constantly learning more about new and thought provoking approaches to dog training, most recently though the idea of play.
So much can be accomplished once we have a good understanding of how to play with our dogs. It can help build confidence, build trust, and can significantly help alleviate problem behaviours by giving them the outlet they so desperately need.
I am an advocate for GRC (Gameness, Relationship, Control), an amazing new dog sport started by a great US trainer named Jay Jack, which is slowly growing momentum in the UK. The sport involves many aspects such as controlled obedience in social situations before opening up into Drive Sports that include Spring Pole, Slat Mill and Weight Pull - All great outlets for dogs of all shapes and sizes and something that I would always recommend to any dog owner that had an interest in opening their dogs world up to new experiences.
I have also recently volunteered as a Foster Coordinator for Dogs Walk This Way Rescue - a not for profit organisation dedicated to improving the lives of abandoned dogs - where i help support new fosterers on their journey by providing them with weekly support and training advice to assist them on their fostering journey.

Structured Solo Walk
A 1 hour structured solo walk that’s tailored to your dog’s needs.
Whether they are reactive, pull on the lead, have poor recall or low in confidence, structured walks aim to help your dog conquer such seemingly impossible feats to help them become a more solid and confident dog when out in the human world.
Every walk is bespoke to your dogs needs, where i will look to encourage play, agility and basic obedience to help build a strong relationship in order to motivate them to be the dog to the dog they truly should be.

Pack Walks
An engaging and social pack walk with up to 6 Dogs in one of our local parks.
Each walk encourages neutrality amongst other dogs in the pack as we explore the environment together, enaging in a little obedience, agility and play where suitable. Ideal for dogs that have a core foundation in the basics (recall, sit, down) and are already neutral, non aggressive towards other dogs and humans.
An in person assessment and at least 2 solo walks are required before any dog can be admitted into a pack walk dynamic.
Neutrality Pack Walks

Every 2-3 months, myself and few fellow Dog Trainers host a Neutrality Pack Walk. These take place in a variety of beautiful locations such as Richmond Park, Virginia Water & Black Park, and they are completely free for dog owners to join!
These walks are a fantastic opportunity to practice any training that you and your dog have been focusing on in a real-world environment, with several other dog owners with expert guidance provided at your fingertips.
These mornings are effective for training and building up dogs neutrality & engagement around other dogs, and are a great place to join a community of like minded dog owners that have or might still be working through similar issues with their dogs.
If you'd like to join us then please get in touch or follow my page oin oinstagrm to find out twhen the next one will be held, I'd love to see you there!
